Westchester Aviation Association’s 8th Annual Safety Day Symposium - June 11th 2024

Join us Tuesday June 11, 2024, for our Safety Day titled, "Predictive Safety: Are We Doing As Well As We Think?"  This conference, which is an annual event, is being held the day before the NBAA White Plains Regional Forum, at Whitby Castle, 330 Boston Post Road, Rye, New York, just minutes from HPN, 8:30am to 5:00pm. Our program, directed toward corporate and charter general aviation, includes a further look at our signature topic of mental wellness and the FAA’s fast evolving position on this medical issue, featuring our invited speaker, Federal Air Surgeon Dr. Susan Northrup, in conversation with a pre-eminent pilot medical advocate, Dr. Quay Snyder of the Aviation Medicine Advisory Service (AMAS).

Other topics are similarly timely and provocative.

Chris Lutat, of Convergent Performance, will speak on Integrity In The Aviation Department covering all of not just cockpit and cabin crews but also our maintainers and schedulers/dispatchers.

We will have a discussion of trends in aviation claims and overall risk assessment, as well as the implementation of the Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) in Part 91 departments, featuring Steve Bruneau, Polaris Aero; Sarah Zimmerman, Safety Manager for Major Part 91 Flight Department; Deborah Fitzmaurice,  Marsh McLennan; and Colin Bruno, Global Aerospace.
