The date of our next ATC/WAA meeting has changed and will now take place at 7PM on the evening of April 22nd in the Ross Aviation East Conference Room (2nd floor) at Westchester County Airport.
This meeting will focus on SWAP and other severe weather avoidance procedures in the HPN/NY area, which is very timely for the coming summer season. We will have representatives from our HPN Tower, and also from NY Center and NY Tracon, to describe recent changes to these procedures to us. The changes will affect turbojet, turboprop and piston operators' routings. The meeting will also cover any news of a more general nature from our ATC representatives, and they will be glad to respond to your questions. Our Tower representatives have moved mountains to work out the attendance of all relevant FAA personnel to talk to you and their work is most appreciated.
Refreshments will be served.
As is our custom, if you have any questions that you would like to have considered at the meeting, please send them to Scott Dyer at email@example.com so they may be passed on to the ATC side.
"This is another totally free service provided to the HPN GA and corporate aviation community by the WAA, and we're happy to do it. Please do become a member ($35 for individuals) of the WAA if you aren't already one, to help support our many ATC meetings, picnics, seminars and other activities. You can join at our website, www.westchesteraviation.org. We need YOU as a member.
