The WAA’s annual BBQ for all HPN personnel on July 18^th was a great success.  The day was dry and relatively cool, which we had no right to expect!  We had over 150 people join us for hamburgers, hot dogs and sausages, with the open and free ice cream truck being the huge hit that it is every year.

WAA extends great thanks to the Atlantic FBO for its hosting of our location, providing grills, gas, a tent and picnic tables, along with tremendous support overall.

And we thank Pepsico for its contribution of snacks, water and sodas.

In addition, our Grill-Meisters of Scott Harvy (JPMChase), Shawn Rose (Atlantic) and Pat Cunningham (Pepsico) provided that managers can do real work (sometimes). Thanks to each of them.

We at WAA have as one of our missions the fostering of community here at the airport. We think that the annual BBQs do that!
