Yashica Blasubramanin

Yashica is a a Cadet Master Sergeant for Civil Air Patrol. She is passionate about learning to fly. She has completed the CAP Aircraft Ground Handling Course; has a Student Pilot Certificate; has earned her Solo Endorsement and completed a Solo Glider Flight in 2023 at age 15; She has Cadet leadership potential; and an unwavering commitment to flying and aviation. She has been awarded the Presidential Volunteer Service Gold Award five years in a row. She also serves as the TANGO Flight Sergeant and provides training to new incoming members of her Squadron.

Erin Simon

Erin comes from a family of pilots and as one can see from her resume, she has many flight credentials. Erin has also earned American Red Cross Certifications, is a swimmer, and works as a lifeguard for the Town of Hempstead. Community engagement is something she is passionate about and regularly volunteers at her local library’s community service events.
