Brandon Popovich A love of aviation as a child has grown into a career that still has me looking to the sky when I hear an airplane overhead. A brief moment in commercial aviation quickly transitioned into general aviation and I have never looked back. Always keeping my team, the customer, and their assets a priority, safety has always been a leading goal. How can we do it better while always considering the safety of the people, and equipment? People will always be the #1 consideration...Where does each person fit in the organization? Are they being employed in a way that best utilizes their strengths? Do they feel their potential is being maximized? After two decades in general aviation covering several layers of responsibility, I have a passion for treating people with dignity and respect while also pushing their limits; limits they may not have realized. Creating an environment of growth while maintaining the highest safety standards is a challenge I've considered for my entire career. In the realm of aviation ground handling, and ramp operations, leading people in a high stress environment can be challenging. Maintaining a high level of awareness is a trait I'm willing to exercise while ensuring the people are cared for and their contribution to the team is fulfilled. |
