The Westchester Aviation Association has partnered with Tradewind, Performance Flight, Darcy Aviation and Vaughn College in awarding four aviation scholarships. The Tradewind, Performance Flight, and Darcy Aviation scholarships will be issued as credit to be used toward ground school and/or flight training. The Vaughn College scholarship will be issued as credit to be used towards their aviation maintenance technician program. The credit must be used within one year of receiving the awarded amount.

To apply for the scholarships, the applicant must:

✓ Be at least 16 years old.

✓ Submit a letter of recommendation from a teacher, colleague, employer, organizational leader, etc.

✓ Submit a short essay to include as applicable: academic history, career background, extracurricular activities, volunteer work, and personal information (name, address, telephone number, and email address).

✓ Submit up to a 5-minute video to include: aviation background and future goals, 5-year personal/professional growth plan, how this scholarship will aid in helping you achieve your objective and financial needs.

✓ Not be currently enrolled in a flight training program at Tradewind, Performance Flight, or Darcy Aviation (flight training applicants only).
