Meet The WAA and The WAI at The Westchester Aviation Association (WAA) is delighted to once again be able to have a table at the upcoming US Aircraft Expo, Friday, September 22, and Saturday, September 23rd. This year, we will be sharing the space with our good friends at The Woman in Aviation Westchester County Chapter and we are looking forward to engaging with our large GA Community. This premier event held at Million Air, gives you a first-hand look at the latest models of general aviation aircraft from renowned brands like Beechcraft, Bell, Cessna, Cirrus, CubCrafters, Embraer, Enstrom, Epic, Glasair, Honda Jet, Diamond, Husky, Piper, Pilatus, Quest, SuperPetrel, SyberJet, TBM, Icon, and Tecnam.
Pilots, please be sure to join us immediately after the exposition ends, Saturday, September 23rd, 3:00pm to 4:00pm, second floor of Million Air, for a presentation from distinguished medical professionals, Dr. Donald Cohen, Internal Medicine and DME (Designated Medical Examiner), Private Pilot and aircraft owner, and Dr. Dennis Wolf Anesthesiology, CFII, ATP, Aircraft Owner, and 2022 FAA Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award recipient. The presentation will cover changes in FAA Medical Certification that address certain medications, conditions and processes that are now permitted or have changed such as ADHD, Sleep Apnea, streamlining of the special issuance process, BasicMed and new proposed sport pilot rules.
